SPEEDWAY TRAILS ASSOCIATION, est. 2007, is an all-volunteer group developing a safe community trail system in Speedway, IN. They connect neighbors, promote local businesses, improve the environment, and provide for a healthy community. They purchased the P&E railroad corridor in 2014 and completed the P&E Trail in 2016. The B&O Trail in Speedway opened in 2018, and they are working to connect Speedway to downtown Indianapolis trails.
Mission
Speedway Trails Association, an all-volunteer group established in 2007, aims to develop a safe community trail system in the Town of Speedway that is accessible for all. These trails connect neighbors, promote local businesses, improve the environment, and provide for a healthy community.
