Sporting Club Gjøa, est. 1911 by Norwegian immigrants, is NY's oldest soccer club. A Brooklyn-based 501(c)(3) non-profit, they prioritize kids over earnings, offering travel soccer, camps, and classes for boys & girls ages 3-18. Over 800 participants benefit from their programs annually.
Mission
Sporting Club Gjøa fosters community through sports, particularly soccer, for youth and adults. They offer opportunities for athletic engagement and camaraderie, continuing a tradition that began with Norwegian Seaman in 1911.
