Sporty's Foundation, founded in 2007, supports young people pursuing aviation dreams. It primarily funds EAA's Next Step program, ensuring Young Eagles have continued aviation opportunities. The Foundation also co-sponsors the Richard Collins Writing Prize and offers the Dave Stahl Checkride Scholarship, encouraging youth involvement in aviation.
Mission
The Sporty's Foundation funds programs educating young people on the excitement and life-enhancing potential of general aviation. With the future of general aviation in mind, the Foundation funds aviation education and safety programs with an emphasis on attracting and retaining young people.
