STARBASE Vermont, founded in 1994, aims to boost youth interest and skills in STEM through hands-on activities. Serving primarily fifth graders, the program offers 25 hours of engaging instruction, fostering teamwork, and goal-setting. Surveys show high satisfaction among parents and teachers, with students developing a greater interest in STEM and improved teamwork abilities.
Mission
STARBASE Vermont raises interest and improves youth knowledge in STEM through an exciting, activity-based curriculum. They provide hands-on STEM activities, teambuilding, and promote healthy choices, positively impacting students' attitudes towards science, math, and technology.
