Established in 1975, the State of New York Police Juvenile Officers Association (SNYPJOA) is an educational and training organization for police juvenile officers, School Resource Officers, and juvenile justice professionals. SNYPJOA provides quality training for its members, focusing on child safety, juvenile law enforcement, advocacy, and family support. They offer Certified Basic and Advanced Juvenile Officers Courses, DCJS Certified Basic and Advanced School Resource Officer Training Courses, and seminars addressing current trends impacting young people.
