Summerbridge Louisville, now Breakthrough Louisville, is a tuition-free academic program for underserved middle school students in Jefferson County. Founded in 2000, it offers a 6-week summer program focused on math, language arts, and character building. The program aims to prevent summer learning loss and prepare students for academic success with a dual mission of helping students find academic confidence while inspiring the next generation of educators.
