Summit Choral Society, founded in 1990, provides musical training and performance opportunities for all ages in the Akron area. Beginning with the Masterworks Chorale and expanding to include the Children's Choir Program, SCS offers a unique pathway in choral music education. Through programs like the Choral Scholars and the Metropolitan Chorus, SCS cultivates a vibrant musical community and shares the rich world of choral repertoire.
