Surfers Healing, founded in 2001, introduces children with autism to the therapeutic experience of surfing. Through surf camps and events, they provide a safe, judgment-free environment where kids can challenge themselves, build confidence, and experience the calming effects of the ocean. Their programs offer a unique respite for families and promote understanding and acceptance of autism.
Mission
Surfers Healing enriches the lives of people living with autism by exposing them to the unique experience of surfing. As the original surf camp for children with autism, they've been serving the community since 1996, providing free surf camps and creating an inclusive space.
