The Texas Safety Foundation, originally a division of the Texas Safety Association (created Sept. 18, 1964), became a separate nonprofit on Feb. 22, 1966. It provides financial assistance and resources to Texas students pursuing undergraduate and graduate degrees in safety and health, supporting safety education and research within the state.
