That's What Friends Are For, Inc., founded in 2009, provides financial aid for vet services for companion animals, prioritizing spay/neuter, vaccines, and emergency care in the CSRA. They mobilize volunteers and donations to combat pet homelessness, reduce shelter intake, and keep pets with their families. They network to reunite lost pets, help people adopt, and fundraise through events. In 2024, they facilitated 2,073 spay/neuter surgeries and aided 443 animals in medical emergencies.
