About
The Berkeley Baby Book Project, founded in 2013, promotes early literacy by providing free books to children ages 0-5 in the East Bay. As a partner of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, they strive to make books a birthright and ensure all children can fully participate in society. They believe literacy is a cornerstone of social justice and equality.
Mission
We enroll 0 to 4.5 year olds in two East Bay areas to receive quality, brand new books by mail each month until their 5th birthday, at no cost.
