The DC Sisters - Abbey of Magnificent Intentions, founded in 2016, are a chapter of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, a 501(c)3 charity. They promote universal joy, expiate stigmatic guilt, and expose bigotry. The Sisters devote themselves to community service, ministry, and outreach to those on the edges.

We believe all people have a right to express their unique joy and beauty and we use humor and irreverent wit to expose the forces of bigotry, complacency and guilt that chain the human spirit.
