The Imagination Workshop, founded in 1991, is a non-profit theater arts org providing artistic opportunities to the mentally ill, homeless veterans, senior citizens, and at-risk youth. For over 50 years, IW's programs have given marginalized individuals a safe way to express themselves and gain insights that often help make their lives more successful.
Mission
Imagination Workshop provides dramatic arts programs for veterans, psychiatric patients, at-risk youth and other disenfranchised individuals, helping them experience positive, lasting behavioral changes through workshops culminating in writing, directing, and acting in plays.
