PAWS Shelter of Central Texas (founded in 1986 as The Public for Animal Welfare) is a no-kill shelter dedicated to rescuing, caring for, and finding loving homes for homeless, abandoned, and abused animals in Central Texas. They provide medical care, spay/neuter services, and enrichment activities, ensuring each animal has a safe place to call home. PAWS also educates the community on responsible pet ownership.
Mission
PAWS Shelter of Central Texas envisions a Central Texas Community that celebrates the human-animal bond, solves pet overpopulation, and ends all animal suffering.
