Mentor Programme

Provides a safe space for youth to learn, have fun, build teamwork and leadership skills, and find alternatives to negative influences.
Afterschool Program
Offers afterschool programs for middle and high school students with homework support, music lessons, field trips, dances, and celebrations.
Senior Programs
Provides year-round programming for seniors in Grand Traverse County, including chair yoga, bingo, Euchre, and special events.

About
The Rock of Kingsley, founded in 2008 by Diane and Dan Walton, serves youth, seniors, and communities in Benzie, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska, Leelanau, and Wexford counties. Originally an abandoned EMS building, it's now a community and youth center with after-school programs, senior activities, and disaster sheltering. In 2019, they had over 33,000 youth encounters and 3,000 senior citizen encounters. They also offer crisis support and mental health training.
Mission
The Rock of Kingsley is celebrating over 15 years serving youth, seniors, and the communities of five counties: Benzie, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska, Leelanau, and Wexford.
