The Yip Harburg Foundation, founded in 1981 by E.Y. "Yip" Harburg, promotes social and economic justice through grants and scholarships. Funded by royalties from his songs, the Foundation supports charities and nonprofits working to combat racism and social injustice, and to bring about economic and social justice. The Foundation also preserves and enhances Harburg's legacy of socially conscious songs and musicals.
