The Thermopolis Volunteer Fire Department, founded in 1972, protects the 4,799 residents of Hot Springs County, Wyoming. Located at the mouth of the Wind River Canyon, they respond to haz-mat incidents, wild-land fires, car accidents, and structure fires. Their mission is to provide fire protection for the local community with a team of dedicated volunteers on call 24/7.
