The Thomas Wolfe Society, founded in 1979, fosters appreciation and study of the American author Thomas Wolfe. Members convene annually, often in places linked to Wolfe's life. The society publishes Wolfe-related materials and The Thomas Wolfe Review. It also offers grants and prizes, such as the Zelda & Paul Gitlin Literary Prize and the William B. Wisdom Grants in Aid of Research, to support Wolfe scholarship.
