Tompkins Girls Athletic Association Inc, founded in 1996, runs the Ithaca Shooting Stars, the oldest girls' hockey organization in NY. They host practices twice a week and games every Saturday from September to May. A highlight is the annual Girls Hockey Tournament in December, hosting 16 teams.
Mission
Tompkins Girls Hockey Association, also known as the Ithaca Shooting Stars, has been developing players and people since 1972, and is the oldest girls hockey organization in New York State.
