Truly Reaching You (TRY), founded in 1999 in Akron, OH, supports men re-entering the community from incarceration/addiction. TRY helps them transition into healthy lifestyles through Christian principles, offering housing, job training, and support services. TRY works with local and state organizations to reduce recidivism and promote positive change.
Mission
Truly Reaching You is a relationship-based reentry ministry serving men who have “done their time” and are ready to return to family and community. TRY offers services including housing rehab, construction, and lawncare.
