About
Founded in 1963, the Tulsa Youth Symphony (TYS) provides advanced musical training and performance opportunities. TYS serves over 250 young musicians each season through programs like the Concert Orchestra, Preparatory String Orchestra, Chamber Music Program, and Prestige Performance Series. TYS alumni have excelled in music and various other fields, attending top schools and performing with renowned orchestras.

The Tulsa Youth Symphony provides advanced musical training and exceptional performance opportunities to our community’s future leaders. They aim to improve problem-solving skills, stimulate creativity, expand the imagination, and instill a love and passion for music.
