Turning Point Lansing, founded in 2009, mentors young African American males in the Lansing area, providing an Afrocentric group experience focused on life skills and strategies for success. Through monthly seminars and workshops, the program addresses education, communication, financial responsibility, health, and relationships, empowering young men to become responsible members of their communities.
Mission
The Turning Point of Lansing transforms boys to men by providing an afro-centric, group mentoring experience that gives young African American males an opportunity to explore life’s challenges all while developing strategies for success in their lives, school, and communities.
