Twin Ports Ministry to Seafarers, est. 1973, offers aid & friendship to seafarers of all backgrounds, regardless of faith. Originating from a 1964 grain millers strike, it provides ship visits, transport, reading material, & translation. Their Lincoln Park Resource Center offers transitional housing & free clothing. They enrich lives through hospitality.
Mission
The Seafarers Center is an ecumenical ministry of hospitality for seafarers visiting the Twin Ports of Duluth, Minnesota and Superior, Wisconsin. They offer assistance and friendship to seafarers from a multitude of religious, ethnic, and national backgrounds.
