The United Beagle Gundog Federation is devoted to the complete hunting Beagle, awarding both field ability and conformation. Their C.H.B. Program, started in 1977, promotes the Dual Champion award of field ability and conformation to the same Beagle. The UBGF encourages participation in both field and show events to perpetuate the breed to its highest level as the world’s desired hunting hound.
