The United Nurses & Allied Professionals (UNAP), est. 1998, is a labor union representing ~6,500 healthcare workers in RI, VT, & CT. Originally part of the RI State Nurses Association, UNAP became independent to focus on nurses' and patients' needs. It provides collective bargaining, education, legal support, and advocates for accessible, affordable, quality care.

UNAP is a forceful advocate for both its members and their patients, working to create a humane health care system that offers accessible, affordable, quality care for all. They are committed to improving the working conditions and economic well-being of their members.
