Vashon Opera, founded in 2009 by Jennifer Krikawa, brings opera to Vashon Island, WA. This volunteer-run nonprofit presents high-quality performances in intimate settings, featuring fabulous music, beautiful singing, and orchestral playing. Vashon Opera enriches the community by sharing the beauty, passion, and drama of opera's greatest treasures with islanders and visitors alike.
Mission
Vashon Opera enriches its community by creating opera in intimate settings. As a volunteer-run, non-profit organization on Vashon Island, it has presented opera to Islanders and visitors for over fifteen years.
