Teaches respect for the U.S. Flag and brings attention to Prisoners of War and those Missing in Action.
Buddy Poppy Program
Provides compensation to veterans who assemble the poppies and provides financial assistance in maintaining state and national veterans' rehabilitation and service programs.
Community Service Program
Promotes all forms of community service amongst members and recognizes those members and Posts that excel.
Voice of Democracy Scholarship
Provides high school students with the opportunity to express themselves in regards to a democratic and patriotic-themed recorded essay.
VSO Sponsorship Program
Provides information on VFW programs, information for veterans and families.
Patriot's Pen Essay Contest
Gives students an opportunity to write essays expressing their views on an annual patriotic theme.
