The Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) of the United States Dept of Oklahoma, founded in 1945, is dedicated to supporting veterans, service members, and their families. The VFW preserves comradeship, assists worthy comrades, and perpetuates the memory of our dead. Through veterans' service, community service, national security initiatives, and a strong national defense, they honor the dead by helping the living. The Oklahoma VFW Foundation provides assistance, promotes patriotic programs, and offers educational scholarships.
