Established in 1914, the VFW Auxiliary serves veterans, the military, and their families. Members, relatives of those who served in foreign conflicts, volunteer millions of hours and fundraise millions of dollars for charitable projects. Through national programs, they assist the VFW with legislation, volunteer in VA medical centers, conduct patriotic programs, and offer scholarships.

The VFW Auxiliary Department of Connecticut is a fraternal, patriotic, historical, charitable, and educational organization that assists Veterans of Foreign Wars, its members, and their own members. They foster patriotism, maintain American freedom, and defend the United States.
