Virginia Science Olympiad Inc (VASO), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2009, promotes STEM learning through team-based competitive tournaments for students in grades 3-12. VASO offers hands-on events across STEM disciplines, fostering relationships among students, educators, and the STEM community.
Mission
Virginia Science Olympiad seeks to build excitement in STEM by offering fun and rewarding tournaments for elementary, middle, and high school students. VASO provides age-appropriate, collaborative and hands-on events and experiences across a wide breadth of STEM disciplines and topics.
