About
Voices Rising, founded in 2004, is a feminist chorus of women and gender minorities (trans, non-conforming, non-binary). Based in Jamaica Plain, MA, they strive for community, activism, and education through song. They give voice to LGBTQIA+ and women's lives, celebrate diversity, and contribute to the women's choral movement. They perform at events supporting equality and partner with organizations benefiting the homeless, survivors of domestic violence, and more.
