Wakefield Youth Skating Association (WYSA), founded in 1994, provides Wakefield children the opportunity to play ice hockey, learn sportsmanship and skills, and build self-esteem through supervised competition and instruction. WYSA is a volunteer organization focused on fostering a safe and healthy environment for youth athletes.
Mission
The Wakefield Youth Skating Association aims to instill good sportsmanship in young boys and girls while developing quality skills for safe participation in ice sports. They provide supervised competition and instruction, prioritizing good sportsmanship, athletic skills, and self-esteem over winning.
