About
Wells Prep Basketball, est. 2011 (formerly Wilson Youth Basketball), offers youth basketball programs for the Ida B. Wells High School cluster. They provide recreational teams for grades 3-5 and competitive development teams for grades 4-5, focusing on enjoyment, participation, and competitiveness. They collaborate with local high schools, offering coaching clinics and camps.
Mission
Wells Prep Basketball was founded in 2008 to build a centralized youth basketball program promoting enjoyment, participation, and competitiveness. The 100% volunteer-led organization serves the Ida B. Wells High School cluster area in SW Portland.
