Mentor Programme
{Mentorship programme is designed to help teens find the career path that best suits them.}
Summer Program
Summer sailing program for kids ages 8-18 of all skill levels. Focuses on sailing techniques while fostering a love for the water, teamwork, and personal growth.
Sea Urchins
Introduction to sailing for children aged 4.5 to 8. Provides a welcoming environment with arts and crafts, games, and time on the water.
Sailing School
Courses for sailors of all skill levels (ages 7-18) who have completed second grade. Covers appropriate skills for each student's level, using OPTIs, 420s, and Lasers.
Race Team
For sailors comfortable with basic boat handling skills who want to learn more about racing. Practices advanced techniques and competes at regattas.

About
Founded in the late 1930s, West River Yacht Club began with 14 boat owners near Hartge's Boat Yard. Incorporated in 1939, the club provides a home for boating enthusiasts. After a period of inactivity during the war, the club revived and established a permanent home on Cadle Creek. The original clubhouse was replaced in 1952 and continues to be improved, offering a place for members to connect and enjoy boating.
