Offers caring support to adults grieving the loss of a loved one. Includes in-person meetings and a Zoom option for broader accessibility.

The West Virginia Family Grief Center, founded in 2004, helps children and families cope with the death of a loved one. They provide a supportive atmosphere for families to heal and learn that their emotions are normal. Sharing stories and feelings with others in a safe setting allows children to see that they are not alone in their grief.
Mission
The West Virginia Family Grief Center provides caring support to grieving children, teens, and adults through peer support, education, and outreach, all offered at no cost to participating families. They are committed to offering a strong support system to those in need.
