Mentor Programme
{Mentorship programme is designed to help teens find the career path that best suits them.}
Learn-to-Skate
Designed for beginners ages 3 and up, this program teaches the basics of ice skating in a safe and fun environment.
Learn-to-Play
Building upon the Learn to Skate program, this program adds basic hockey skills and a solid foundation of skating skills.
6U Novice
An introductory program for children with birth years of 2017 & younger. All 6U teams play in cross-ice games.
8U (Mite)
Teams classified by USA Hockey age divisions for players 8 years old and under.
10U (Squirt)
Teams classified by USA Hockey age divisions for players 9 and 10 years old.
12U (Peewee)
Teams classified by USA Hockey age divisions for players 11 and 12 years old.
Pre-High School 18U (Midget)
A program for children (age 15-18) with birth years of 2004 & older.

About
Westfield Youth Hockey Association (WYHA), est. 1969, is one of the longest-running youth hockey organizations in Massachusetts. WYHA provides programs for players aged 4-18, including Learn to Skate and Learn to Play. Serving Westfield, Southwick, and surrounding towns, WYHA is a member of the Greater Springfield Hockey League.
Mission
The Westfield Youth Hockey Association, founded in 1969, is dedicated to molding great players and people. Serving multiple cities and towns, they offer programs from Learn to Skate to 18U, run by dedicated volunteers.
