About
The Wheeler Opera House, est. 1889 in Aspen, CO, connects the community through the arts. Built by Jerome Wheeler, it has served as a stage for music, comedy, theater, film, and conversation. It was briefly closed due to financial hardship, suffered fire damage, and was purchased by the City of Aspen in 1918. Today, it hosts diverse performances and events.
