The Whittier Police Officers Association (WPOA) represents sworn personnel in Whittier and Santa Fe Springs, including officers, corporals, and sergeants. Established in 1973, the WPOA fosters a harmonious working atmosphere between the police and the City of Whittier's governing body. The Association operates under its by-laws and the laws of the City of Whittier.
