Widowed Parent Relief Project (WPRP), founded in 2022, supports widowed parents in Knoxville, TN, by alleviating everyday stressors. WPRP offers services such as house cleaning, home organizing, and self-care/babysitting stipends for one year, enabling parents to focus on their family's well-being. The organization was co-founded by Kelly and C.J. Orrico after Kelly's near-death experience inspired them to help others.
Mission
Help build an enduring support system and alleviate everyday stressors for widowed parents so that parents have more time to spend with their children and focus on the family’s mental health and healing.
