The WordPlayers, est. 1995 in Knoxville, TN, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit theatre company creating excellent theatre with culturally-relevant, faith-based stories. They envision a community uplifted by Christ-centered art, offering artists a positive environment. Their programs include a Touring Wing for churches and an annual History play for East Tennessee schools, plus MainStage plays/musicals.
