Workin' Roots, founded in 2022, is a Black woman-owned urban farm in Detroit's Nolan neighborhood. They combat food apartheid by providing fresh, local produce and revitalizing the community through land stewardship, food sovereignty, and sustainability. Their mission is to reconnect people to the Earth, promoting healthy lifestyles and community engagement.
