Sack Pack Program
Provides children at risk of hunger with kid-friendly food to ensure they aren't hungry over the weekends. Distributed year-round on Fridays.

School Food Pantry
Provides fresh and shelf-stable food to Yankton School District children and their families. Open twice a month, all year round.

Nutritional Education
Offers recipients of the School Food Pantry tastings and basic food preparation education. Offered periodically.

Yankton Food For Thought, founded in 2017, collaborates with the Yankton School District to serve students at risk of hunger. They alleviate food insecurity on weekends/holidays by providing nutritious food to children in need. They also sponsor a Food Pantry for food-insecure families with children attending Yankton schools.
