About
Located in downtown York, Nebraska, Yorkshire Playhouse has provided theatrical productions for over 50 years. They offer Children's Theatre programs for kids who have completed 1st grade to teens who have completed their Junior year in high school. They also have the Rising Stars program for ages 12-18. Yorkshire Playhouse also has a scholarship fund.
Mission
Yorkshire Playhouse provides live amateur theater performances to patrons in York, NE, and surrounding areas. They present at least five full-length productions each year and underwrite a children's theater project each summer, involving many area children and their families.
