Yorktown Community Nursery School (YCNS), est. 1948, began as a parent-led cooperative in Yorktown Heights. YCNS fosters cognitive, social-emotional, creative & physical skills through joyful, meaningful & socially engaged learning. Teachers facilitate learning through play, observing & building upon each child's interests. YCNS nurtures young minds in a warm environment, celebrating each child's individual journey.
