Youth Wise Mentoring, founded in 2005, provides Seattle youth with caring adult mentors for support and guidance. Originally a faith-based outreach program, it transitioned to mentoring in 2016. They match youth with mentors, offer ongoing training, and aim to help young people develop into healthy, capable adults. They also train organizations to adopt their mentoring model.
Mission
Youth Wise Mentoring provides young people with a trusted adult friend who offers support, guidance, friendship, and a constructive personal example. They help young people develop competence and character to become healthy, capable, and compassionate adults.
