1st Kamloops Scouts

1st Kamloops Scouts empowers youth through adventurous activities, fostering leadership, teamwork, and community engagement. We aim to develop skills and values that inspire lifelong learning and responsible citizenship.

We have been working hard to plan an exciting adventure for our Scouts. This is a 2 part adventure where we would hope that the Scouts will participate in both parts. Exact dates and details are still just being polished up.&nbsp;Part 1:&nbsp;We will travel to Sudbury, Ontario for the first week of summer vacation from school. We would fly out on or about June 28th- July 5, approximately a week. The 15th Sudbury Scout group will host us for the week and we will make some new friends over the week. There will be a reasonable expectation of conduct and personal responsibility that the Scouts will be required to have on this adventure.&nbsp;Part 2:The Scouts from Sudbury will travel to Kamloops on or about August 17th-23rd and stay with us around Kamloops and Ruckell Point for approximately a week. In that week we would be likely planning a day trip into Kamloops to do some of the Kamloops stuff. We would need to organize some parents and minivans to transport our scouts and our new friends on this day trip.&nbsp;This trip is only possible as a very large part of it (all the travel) is heavily subsidized by Experiences Canada.

Sudbury Scout Adventure

1st Kamloops Group Camp Event

Camp Cariboo is a Chief Scout Award project for one of the 1st Kamloops Scouts. This is a social camp for Scouts and older! Enjoy camping and socializing with your friends, and have the opportunity to enjoy some of the activities that include swimming, boating, archery, air rifles, legacy project, dance party, karaoke and a few other activities packed into the weekend. We have created a PAYLATER discount code. Register for camp now and tell us you are coming, but send us the E-Transfer or bring a cheque at a later date. If you need to update your registration, just reply to the confirmation email and we can manually update it! Camp Cariboo 2026

Parents must accompany youth! This is a recreational event where scouters will be off duty, hanging with their own families! Join us for Scout Night on Friday, March 6, 2026 at 7:00 PM when the Kamloops Blazers host the Victoria Royals at the Sandman Centre in Kamloops! It&rsquo;s a fun evening for Scouts of all ages &mdash; come cheer on the Blazers in an exciting WHL matchup, enjoy great atmosphere and community spirit, and make some lasting memories with your fellow Scouts! Game time is 7:00 PM.
