LXCL:3 Sisters Equine Refuge is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming horses at risk of slaughter, neglect, and abuse. Through compassionate care and training, we advocate for equine welfare, restoring dignity and hope to every horse we encounter.

Training Fund

When wildfire sweeps through a community, the damage doesn&#39;t end when the flames are extinguished. The recent Bench Fire has burned tens of thousands of acres in and around Warm Springs, leaving behind a devastating loss of grazing land, habitat, and resources for animals of all kinds. Horses, livestock, companion animals, and wildlife are all feeling the impact, and the challenges will continue long after the fire is contained.This effort began when we learned about Feather, a horse injured during the fire. As we connected with local residents, veterinarians, and rescue organizations, it became clear that Feather&#39;s story was just one of many. His owner&#39;s response was simple: she didn&#39;t want help directed only toward her horse when so many others in the community were struggling. That spirit of generosity inspired the creation of the Warm Springs Animal Relief Fund.Our goal is to raise $15,000 to purchase and transport hay, grain, supplements, salt blocks, veterinary supplies, and other essential resources for animals affected by the fire and the loss of grazing land. With approximately 40,000 acres of forage lost, many families are facing difficult months ahead. The need for feed and support will only increase as we move toward winter. Funds raised will help provide:🐴 Hay and feed for horses and livestock🐶 Support for companion animals impacted by the fire🦌 Resources that benefit wildlife affected by habitat loss💊 Veterinary supplies and emergency animal care needs🚚 Transportation and delivery of critical supplies This effort is being supported by a growing coalition of animal welfare organizations, rescue groups, veterinary professionals, and community partners who are working together to help animals and the people who care for them.
