3 Sisters Equine established our &lsquo;orphan program&rsquo; in 2016. Over time, we&rsquo;ve developed a solid and proven program that&rsquo;s allowed us to rescue and care for more than 50 babies &mdash; from hours-old foals in critical condition, to those needing immediate surgeries.&nbsp; Did you know orphans come with a special set of needs?<ul fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Orphan veterinary triage (intake): $1,000</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Veterinary critical care (if needed): $10,000</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Veterinary support care: $5,000</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Milk pellets: $100/bucket</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Foal growth pellets: $25/bag</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Alfalfa and orchard hay: $15/bale&nbsp;</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Vet-assisted mare graft (when possible): $2,000-$3,000</li></ul>Your gift today makes a direct impact, and every dollar brings us closer to providing the necessary nutrition that keeps orphans healthy and happy. Many horses arrive at our refuge with little to no handling experience&mdash;or with behaviors that make them hard to place. Without proper training, these horses face a future of uncertainty. Join us for our annual spring High Tea for Horses, a joyful afternoon benefiting the horses at 3 Sisters Equine Refuge. Your ticket includes a delightful high tea experience featuring an assortment of tea sandwiches, freshly baked scones, and sweet treats, all paired with locally sourced teas. You&rsquo;ll also enjoy a lively spring fashion show for fresh seasonal inspiration and a maker&rsquo;s market filled with unique, handcrafted finds.
