Take your place on stage | Auditions are open for ASO&rsquo;s 2026&ndash;2027 season 🎻 We&rsquo;re inviting musicians to audition for open principal and section positions as we prepare for another season of extraordinary performances across Acadiana! Open positions include: Assistant Concertmaster Principal Second Violin Principal Viola Principal Double Bass Violin, Viola &amp; Cello Sections Auditions begin September 8 at LSU School of Music from 3:30&ndash;6:00PM. An additional audition date may be held September 9 in Lafayette, if needed. Applications are due September 1, 2026. Studio,&nbsp;Dorico, and Logic.&nbsp;Attendees are also welcomed to bring their lap top or I-Pad to log in to free software trials. Teachers, please invite your students, grades 7th&nbsp;-12th&nbsp;!&nbsp;
