TAP is hosting an unforgettable evening of creativity and community at Radical Love, a special fundraiser dedicated to supporting the Teaching Artist Project (TAP). Set against the elegant backdrop of Opera America&rsquo;s Scorca Hall, this event brings together a vibrant lineup of music and poetry to honor the transformative power of arts education. Featured performers include Dale Novella, Natie, and Ellen Hagan.&nbsp; Your attendance directly fuels TAP&rsquo;s mission to provide comprehensive social justice-based training for teaching artists, ensuring the next generation of creatives has the tools to inspire and lead. After earning a Media Arts degree from the University of South Carolina, she ventured into entrepreneurship and radio production, challenging conventions with her diverse talents. As a registered Yogi, Teaching Artist with Community-Word Project and Building Beats, and co-Director of the Teaching Artist Project, Dale uses her many talents to help others find peace, express emotions, and connect with themselves. She curates live music events, and yoga and wellness workshops championing the power of music and community. After gaining her 200 hr Yoga and Mindfulness certification in 2018, Dale began incorporating wellness and mindfulness into her songwriting and production workshops for youth. Dale released her self-produced EP, SANG BXTCH!!, in 2020 and has toured the U.S. and Europe. Through song, meditation, and movement, Dale aims to unite the world in rhythm, one beat at a time. After a world tour in Beyonc&eacute; &amp; Jay-Z&#39;s band in 2018, Natie launched her solo career with the release of her music video &quot;Identity&quot; &amp; her debut EP &quot;In the Key Of Fall&quot;.Through her music, Natie aims to share the experience of being creole (mixed race) and uprooted, with authenticity and grounding, in the hope to foster more openness and belonging. With these values in mind, the artist has launched her own festival, Kr&eacute;ol Fest, an artistic celebration of creole culture from around the world. Her multilingual/soothing EP &ldquo;Home: a place within aux parfums d&rsquo;ailleurs&rdquo; also came out last year with a stunning cinematic music video shot in both her homes untitled &lsquo;Ter La&rsquo;. Recent performances include Global Fest with the Ragini Ensemble, Summerstage with Ganavya, and a solo performance for 100 Years 100 Women at Lincoln Center. She recently performed in her home island for the 20th anniversary of the festival Sakifo. Ellen Hagan&nbsp;is a writer, performer, and educator. Her books include: Crowned, Hemisphere, Watch Us Rise (YA collaboration with Ren&eacute;e Watson), Blooming Fiascoes, Reckless, Glorious, Girl, Don&rsquo;t Call Me a Hurricane, All That Shines and Tell Me Every Lie (YA collaboration with David Flores forthcoming from Bloomsbury, Spring 2025).
