District 12-S empowers Lions and Leos to develop leadership skills and support new clubs through workshops and training, fostering community service and strengthening local initiatives across Tennessee.

Guiding Lion &amp; New Club Development Workshop brings Lions and Leos together to build confident, practical leadership for today&rsquo;s clubs. In this session, you&rsquo;ll work with experienced trainers on real situations you face when supporting new or rebuilding clubs. 🎯 We&rsquo;ll cover tools for coaching club officers, strengthening membership, and navigating change while honoring Lions traditions. 🔶Complete this form to reserve your seat and help new clubs start strong and stay active in their communities. The Guiding Lion Program is designed to assist clubs that are newly chartered, established or rebuilding. &nbsp;Guiding Lions are assigned for a two-year term by the district governor in consultation with the sponsoring or established club president. &nbsp;&nbsp; The New Club Development Workshop is designed to train and assist our district &nbsp;in the development of new clubs. All Lions are welcome to attend the training so please come out and learn how you can serve our soon to be growing District!

Guiding Lion & New Club Development Workshop

April 16-19, 2026A 3-day institute for Lions and Leos designed to accelerate leadership development and club growth across our regions. Training at Cumberland University, One Cumberland Square, Lebanon, TN 37087Lodging at Comfort Suites, 904 Murfreesboro Rd. Lebanon, TN 37090 (Exit 238 off I-40) WHAT: Interactive participation with your peers and faculty in a casual environment dealing with what Lions are all about. While all Lions who have not attended a Regional Institute are welcome to register, this Institute is Intended to arm newer Lions and Leos with skills and experiences needed to navigate the challenges of modern-day Lions. Issues such as &ldquo;Diversity&rdquo; , &ldquo;Lions Fundamentals&rdquo;, and &ldquo;How do I break through in a club with outdated ideas?&rdquo; are addressed. This is your opportunity to get your questions answered by a faculty of Lion International Certified Trainers. DRESS: Casual attire, no vests, no name badges, just your Lions pin and an open mind. COST: 2026 IGNITE is subsidized by a grant from LCI and the Multiple District 12 (Tennessee) Council of Governors as an investment into our as Lions and Leos. However, the subsidies don&rsquo;t cover the full cost. Therefore, the cost to each student is $150.00 (for double occupancy hotel room or $275.00 (for single occupancy hotel room) for 3 nights lodging, Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner on Friday and Saturday and Breakfast on Sunday.&nbsp; DEADLINE FOR REGISTRATION IS MARCH 26, 2026 There will be a service fee added when checking out using this registration method.
